As the Winter World Masters Games 2020 in Innsbruck come to an end the cultural programme which takes place in the Masters Village (Maria-Theresien-Straße) continues to excite. Last evening on Saturday several amazing events were held in a row.
Parallel to the Medal ceremony, Benedikt Böhm – a well-known speed climber and CEO of ski brand Dynafit from Germany – was giving a lecture at the Sportler Alpine Flagship Store. The famous sportsman took the full audience on a journey right onto the Manaslu – one of the highest mountains in the world – and shared the inspiring story of his motivation, fears, setbacks and success.
Meanwhile on the main stage of the Masters Village the performance started with the opening act by two up-and-coming bands – the tyrolean rock quartet ‘Holosun’ and directly afterwards the classic jazz trio ‘Die Antifrisöre’. Powerful positive energy was palpable as a large crowd of onlookers came together to watch the concert.
At 8:30 pm, the celebrated Viennese musician Josh. – The headliner of the evening – took to the stage. The musician and his band gave a truly spectacular show. The applause they repeatedly received was deafening. The public was dancing and singing along throughout the whole event and when such hits as “Cordula Grün” and “Vielleicht” sounded from the stage nothing could stop the crowd from enjoying the live music to the fullest.
