In January 2020 our Nordic Cluster Seefeld will not only host the races of the WWMG 2020, but also the Kaiser Maximilian Lauf (Saturday, 11.01.2020) and the Seefeld Nordic Combined Triple (31.01.-02.02.2020).
While the Nordic Combined Triple will mostly attract winter sports enthusiast as spectators, Kaiser Maximilian Lauf is the perfect chance for active cross-country skiers and WWMG participants to experience race atmosphere in Seefeld and test the race tracks.
The Kaiser Maximilian Lauf is taking place for the 5th time in 2020, it is part of the international Visma Ski Classics series and offers two distances in classic technique: 60km and 30km. The exact course maps and all other details can be found on the official event website.
Kaiser Maximilian Lauf is not only another race, but represents the perfect allround package, together with the races within the WWMG 2020. Following the character of the traditional cross-country skiing races Kaiser Maximilian Lauf uses one large lap through the picturesque landscape of the Olympiaregion Seefeld, while the WWMG races on the other hand will consist out of several laps and use the same start-finish arena as the FIS Nordic Ski Championships Seefeld 2019 – the perfect mix for everybody.
