The Americans Judy and Paul leave the ice happy and beaming from ear to ear. They are more than satisfied with their performance and the silver medal they won with their “pattern dance” American waltz.
They have been on the ice for 20 years and with other partners for 15 years, but they have only been dancing together for six months. They are very proud of the second place for which they thank their trainers. Ice dancing is often considered technically the most difficult and detailed form of figure skating, so Judy and Paul can be congratulated even more.
The amateur athletes have already participated in many international competitions, this year for the first time at the Winter World Masters Games. Enthusiastic about this great event in Innsbruck, they can hardly wait to compete in the next discipline at these games.
We keep our fingers crossed for both of them for their success in the next competition and are already looking forward to their next dance.
