133 steps above the city centre
Ever wanted to feel like the king of the castle? Now is your chance! The City Tower overlooking the centre of Innsbruck has kept watch over the city and its residents for almost 450 years. The lower floors used to serve as a prison. Today the 133 steps take visitors up to a viewing platform 31 metres above the oldtown with fabulous views of not only the city but also Bergisel ski jump, Patscherkofel mountain, the Inn river and the Nordkette mountains.
